A window tinter is a technician that's responsible for applying window tinting to vehicles. They measure the glass to the right vehicle specifications, cut it to the right size and apply the tinting to the window. They ensure all window tinting adheres to vehicle specifications and company standards.
A window tinter should have strong attention to detail, customer service skills, critical thinking skills, mechanical skills, analysis skills, people skills, the ability to read instructions, experience with automobiles and have knowledge of vehicle and glass specifications.
Window tinters use their critical thinking skills to determine the exact glass and vehicle specifications and how to apply the tint to the window. They must analyze and evaluate the glass they're working with to tint it properly.
Requirements
Cut glass to the right specifications using the right tools and equipment.
Apply and smoothing tinting to vehicle windows.
Remove old window tinting, any dirt or debris from windows and any damaged body parts.
Ensure all jobs are completed in a timely manner and by company standards.
Maintain a clean work environment by keeping everything orderly.
